February Beauty Empties

Hi my loves!

I know so many of you love to read this kind of posts. As do I. It is always fun to check out what products we actually use up and what do we think about them after.

BODY:

I love body oils. As I have mentioned in my previous posts, I hardly ever use body lotions. It is hard to find enough hydrating one, that is in the acceptable price range. Plus, I am not like most women: I love that oily, greasy feeling on my skin. I always put oil on the skin after my evening shower. These 3 body oils  Eveline Cosmetics Luxurious Dry Oil, Garnier Body Oil and Body & Soul Wellness Massage Oil have a nice smell and they are ok. But, nothing compares to Nuxe dry body oil. My all-time favorite. As it is pricey for daily use, I also love plain baby oils (like Hipp baby oil).

Nivea Pearl Beauty anti-perspirant is one of my frequent repurchases. I am not the biggest fan of anti-perspirants, but I know that this one will not let me down on a hectic day. Unfortunately, I am still on the hunt for a healthier, aluminium, paraben and cruelty-free deodorants that is as effective as this one.

HAIR:

Miracle Nourish Shampoo is another nice shampoo by the brand Aussie. It smells great and gets the job done. I feel my hair is less dry and with fewer tangles.

SKINCARE:

COSRX Low ph Good Morning Gel Cleanser is a very gentle face wash. It does not mess up my skin ph level and is a great second cleanser (after an oil-based product). I would recommend this product to anyone with sensitive or skin prone to breakouts.

MAKE-UP:

I have quite a few make-up related products that I have used up recently. I have finished 4 foundation/bb cream type of products. Bourjois Healthy Mix Anti-Fatigue Foundation is my drugstore favorite foundation as it does not oxidase, it has a medium coverage it is not drying on my skin.

When it comes to DiorSkin Nude Air Serum Foundation and DiorSkin Nude BB Cream all I can conclude that both products were ok, but I will not be repurchasing them. I find that there are much better BB creams out there, that cost less. For example, this Skin79 BB Super + Original Beblesh Balm SPF30 is just as good, if not better and it costs only around 25 EUR (40 gr.), comparing to the 40 EUR for Nude BB Cream (30 ml). It provides similar coverage, but it is more hydrating and I can find my shade easier (my skin is quite fair).

Continuing with MAC Prep+Prime translucent powder, it is one of my favorite powders. Especially, for the make-up bag that I carry with me. The only downside is that it shatters easily, this is the 2nd one I broke.

MAC Fluidline Brow GelCreme in Dirty Blonde is another awesome MAC product. When it comes to eyebrow gels, my favorite next to Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow pomade in Taupe.

Mascara-wise, I think that both Bourjois Volume Glamour and L’Oreal Baby Doll are good ones. They do not flake, last all day and give a good volume to my lashes. Also, they are suitable for my sensitive, lens-wearing eyes. I might repurchase them in the future. The only problem is that so many mascaras launch all the time, and I feel that I need to try them all 🙂

Burberry London and Armani Code

PERFUME:

One of my favorite perfumes of all times is Giorgio Armani Code. Another great one is Burberry London. I enjoy sweet and strong perfumes that have notes of vanilla, fruit and honey. Dear perfumes, you will be missed.

These were my thoughts on my winter empties. What is your favorite product that you have used up lately?

Until my next blog post,

Love,

Marina

So many empties!! I was wondering about the Eveline cosmetics products, we have them here in Cyprus but I haven’t seen any reviews on them, they are actually amazing.

Yes! Eveline cosmetics has some hidden gems. Their Thermo Active anti cellulite cream is a cult product and a favorite for many girls/women I know.
