Review: Kiehl’s Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Mask

Hi everybody!

When I first heard of a Kiehl’s Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydrating mask, I obviously put it on my wish list immediately. And very soon, I have purchased it. Yes, I am a mask lover and I cannot lie 🙂 Especially when in description you can find words like: hydration, soothing and refresh.

This lightweight gel mask, formulated with hand-picked Calendula flower petals and Aloe Vera, bursts into a refreshing surge of cooling hydration upon application to instantly achieve hydrated and soothed skin. With continued use, skin is revitalized for a healthy-looking complexion.
How to Use:
  • Apply a visible layer to clean skin and leave on for 5 minutes.
  • Rinse with warm water and massage gently in a circular motion.
  • Pat dry with a soft towel.
  • Avoid contact with eyes.
  • In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water.
  • Recommended for use three times a week.

Calendula and Aloe Soothing mask comes in an clear orange plastic jar with a white lid. It is very easy to access the product and apply it. Not the most sanitary packaging ever and it doesn’t come with a spatula.

100 ml of product costs $45.

This mask is gel-textured, it reminds me of an aloe gel in texture. It also looks like light yellow – orange jello 🙂

The scent is slightly floral. Not overpowering, but pleasant and fresh.

Star ingredients are Calendula and Aloe Vera. Calendula is amazing for damaged and dry skin and it has anti-inflammatory, heeling and regeneration benefits. Aloe Vera is soothing and heals acne, fights signs of aging, moisturizes the skin and reduces redness.

This is one of my favorite gel masks that I have tried. I love the cooling feeling that it gives and the boost of immediate hydration. This is an amazing mask that I like to put on after a long day. Because of its benefits, I like using it during all seasons, but most of all during summer. Apart from that it revives the skin, it gives an awesome relief and helps if you get sun burned.

Tracy, it sure is. I love using it all year long because of the burst of hydration it gives, but gives the most refreshing feeling during summer time.
