Today I wanted to share my first encounter with the brand Kotoha London which is situated in UK and is specialized in making high quality cosmetic products that are created from ancient wisdom from Far East. I will mention that this fairly new brand (founded in 2015 by Yoko Obata) makes products that are made of unique combinations of natural active ingredients and ‘Shoyaku’- oriental herbs which are used and found to be effective for skin and hair in Far East for centuries. Plus, all of their products are completely free of colorant, artificial perfume, paraben, SLS and SLES.
Lil’ somethin’ somethin’ from Kotoha London
- SKIN CHERISH LAVENDER CLEANSER 85 g. £ 30.00 – Removes make up and dirt with a single application. Its natural ingredients are extremely gentle and do not irritate healthy skin. After use, our cleanser leaves skin feeling radiant and moist.
SHOYAKU HERB ESSENCE MOIST WATER 150 ml £ 28.00 – Recommended for use with Skin Cherish Lavender Cleanser which removes debris, this is a moisturizing water, not a wipe-off toner. Full of the ‘magical’ shoyaku (oriental medicinal herbs) including Ginseng and Peonia Lactifolia KOTOHA’s moisturizing water is highly emollient and rejuvenating.
SHOYAKU HERB ESSENCE BRIGHTENING SERUM 115 g £ 35.00 – This serum contains some powerful ingredients. The shoyaku herb mulberry root bark extract was used to treat uneven skin tone and skin pigmentation in the Far East for hundreds of years. Vitamin C – is also highly effective for treating skin pigmentation and freckle. The anti-oxidant moringa makes this serum powerful, yet it is also gentle. It helps skin look bright and clear. Free from fragrance and paraben.
As these are all new, I haven’t tried anything yet, but I’m so looking forward to. If you read any of my posts, you know how obsessed I am with Asian skincare. I will definitely write 2 more posts: trial and final thoughts about these products. So, stay tuned 🙂
Until my next post, wishing you a wonderful day.
