I wanted to write about my evening skincare routine prior to the morning one because the combination of all of these product makes my skin look better than ever. I haven’t had a breakout in two months (not even a hormonal one) and now I’m kinda scared to change it up because my skin really enjoys this combination. All of this since I have discovered Korean skincare products and routine.
Night time skincare routine is therapeutic for me because removing all of my make up, cleaning my skin and giving it all of the hydration and nourishment that it needs helps me to calm down and prepare for sleeping time. It is a time for myself after I put my kids to bed.
Step 1 Oil Cleanser: – I use Heimish All Clean Balm as an oil based make up remover (review) followed by
Step 2 Water based cleanser: The one I love is COSRX Low Ph Good Morning Gel cleanser because of its low ph and it will not dry out my skin. It is gentle and perfect for sensitive skin.
Step 3 Peeling: 1-2 times a week I exfoliate my face with Neogen Wine Bio-peel Gauze peeling (review).
Step 4 Toner: I go back and forth between Benton Aloe BHA Skin Toner (review) or Meishoku Unscented Moisturizing Astringent. They are both hydrating toners and prepare my skin for following steps.
Step 5 Essence: COSRX Advanced Snail Mucin Power essence is here to repair my skin from any dry patches I might have or acne breakouts while helping with hyperpigmentation.
Step 6 Serum: It is time for my Nuxe Nuxellence Detox Eclat. It claims that it has anti-age properties and detoxifies cells at night while helping skin looking fresh and radiant.
Step 7 Sheet mask: Sheet masks are not in the picture because I use different all the time. Ones I have tried so far are Garnier ones, Tony Moly, Innisfree and The Face Shop Radiance mask (my favorite).
Step 8 Eye cream: Mizon Snail Repair Eye Cream is the one I use now, but I will soon get another one because while it is light and not heavy, I feel my under eye area (I am 32 years old) needs a bit more nourishment and hydration. Do you maybe have any recommendation?
Step 9 Moisturizer: Because it is spring and the weather is hot and humid, I find that Caudalie Polyphenol C15 Overnight Detox Oil (review) is perfect for my skin now.
Step 10 Sleeping Mask: A few times a week I use COSRX Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask (review) for an extra boost of nourishment and hydration.
