Benton Aloe BHA Skin Toner Review

Jolly 🙂  Another review about a Korean skincare product that I really, really like (ups, spolier alert 🙂 ). It is Benton Aloe BHA Skin Toner.

Description and claims:

Packed with ultra beneficial ingredients such as aloe and salicylic acid, this toner hydrates and preps your skin to help with the absorption of skincare products in the next step in your routine.

This toner is designed to prepare your skin for all the next steps in your skincare routine. This Korean toner is a hydrating toner, not like toners made for western market that are closely associated with astringents.

Packaging:

It comes in a green plastic bottle with simple design. It feels a little bit cheap and it delivers the products throughout a pin like hole. I would prefer if it came in a spray bottle.

Texture, performance and scent:

It has no color and no scent. It has a watery texture, but it is thicker than water. Yet, its texture is nice to put in your hands and splash it onto your face. I like to put it on a cotton pad before placing it onto my skin, but this is just a personal preference.

It sinks into the skin quickly and it doesn’t have a sticky feeling after. My skin simply feels nice and hydrated and it leaves a cooling sensation.

Ingredients:

So, star ingredients of this toner are:

Aloe Barbadensis (leaf water and leaf juice) – has soothing properties, antioxidant qualities and serves as a hydrating agent.

Hylaruonic acid –  plays a critical role in skin health because of its unique ability to hold in moisture (1000 ml of water per gram of hyaluronic acid).

Snail secration filtrate – is packed with nutrients such as hyaluronic acid, glycoprotein enzymes, proteoglycans and antimicrobial and copper peptides, all of which are commonly used in beauty products and proven to be beneficial for the skin. It supports natural cell regeneration and replenishes moisture to increase firmness.

Salicylic Acid – it is a beta hydroxid acid (BHA). It is used to help clear and prevent acne. It is also an exfoliant that helps skin to shed the unhealthy build-up of dead skin.

It is water and alcohol free, with no added parabens, mineral oils or synthetic preservatives.

It is perfect for all skin types, including the sensitive skin.

My thoughts:

I like this a lot! This toner is the first hydrating toner I have used and it is so much different than the western type of toners because it doesn’t dry out my skin. It seems to me that I have less breakouts and it is definitely a great addition to my skincare routine. I have already ordered another one 🙂

Have you tried Benton Aloe BHA Skin Toner out yet?
