I’m writing another review of K Beauty product!
I love face mists. My favorite by far is Caudalie’s Beauty Elixir. So, I was very excited to try out this Innisfree Canola Honey Jelly Mist as I’m a big fan of honey products.
Description and claims:
A hydrating mist with Jeju canola honey extract, which creates a moisture barrier that keeps your skin supple.
Use: Spray the mist onto the face whenever it feels dry. It can be used before and after makeup.
It comes in a yellow packaging as all products from the Canola Jelly line by Innisfree. Bottle contains 80ml of the mist and I bought mine at Beautynetkorea for 12.24 USD.
Texture and performance:
The mist is clear and watery, but once sprayed on it leaves a bit of a sticky feeling. It gives a glow to the skin, but is short lasting. The mist isn’t fine and I wouldn’t recommend putting it over make-up.
The main ingredient is Canola Honey that is rich in flavonoids and protein that makes the skin firm and elastic. Jeju Canola Honey is rich in nutrients.
HONEY EXTRACT, WATER, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, PROPANEDIOL, GLYCERETH-26, ALCOHOL, GLYCERIN, BRASSICA CAMPESTRIS (RAPESEED) SEED OIL, CAMELLIA SINENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, CITRUS UNSHIU PEEL EXTRACT, OPUNTIA COCCINELLIFERA FRUIT EXTRACT, ORCHID EXTRACT, CAMELLIA JAPONICA LEAF EXTRACT, THEOBROMA CACAO (COCOA) EXTRACT, BIS-PEG-18 METHYL ETHER DIMETHYL SILANE, SODIUM CHLORIDE, PEG-60 HYDROGENATED CASTOR OIL, GELLAN GUM, MAGNESIUM SULFATE, DEXTRIN, DISODIUM EDTA, PHENOXYETHANOL, FRAGRANCE.
Description of the scent was one of the things that got me to buy it. It’s supposed to smell like sweet honey, but I find it artificial and overwhelming. Not my cup of tea.
I was actually surprised by all the positive reviews out there because I didn’t like this product as much. I find that this mist has a heavy fragrance and it does nothing for my skin. It is not hydrating and I don’t like the scent.
There are many face mists that are better for my skin and that I prefer much more than this.
Until next time!
