K beauty review – Missha M perfect cover BB cream

I have entered K beauty world a few years ago by purchasing this Missha M perfect cover BB cream. At the time, BB creams were Asia’s hottest beauty product . And it suddenly became a beauty boom worldwide. Everybody loved the idea of having make up that provides skin care benefits.

I  bought this bb cream, used it, loved it, but somehow forgot all about it. Maybe because there were so many other products that I wanted to try out and didn’t quite know what my skin needs.

Now, I entered K-beauty world again. I have ordered ”a few things” which there will be more information in some of my next posts (when it ALL ARRIVES, OMG).
But, the first thing that came was this Missha M-Perfect cover BB cream that I know very well and I used some time ago.

This is one of Korean cult beauty products.

You can buy it in 2 sizes: 50 ml (around 15 USD) and 20 ml (around 7 USD). Tube with 50 ml comes with a pump.

It comes in 6 shades:

#13 Bright Beige

#21 Light Beige

#23 Natural Beige

#27 Honey Beige

# 29 Caramel Beige

#31 Golden Beige.

It has SPF 42 PA+++ and I have it in the shade 23, 20 ml size bottle.

This particular shade is quite grey when I first apply it, but when I blend it in, it looks perfect on my (MAC nc 20) skin tone.

I think that this BB cream is great to put on your face when you want more natural or ‘no make up make up look’. It also acts as great base to put under your foundation.

We all know that BB creams claim that they give more than just coverage for your imperfections , and this one claims that it:

has outstanding coverage that hides flaws for a perfect complexion,

has Wrinkle Care, Brightening, UVA & UVB Protection.

Plus, it provides/is:

  1. Gorgeous, Radiant Skin

Covers blemishes, leaves skin looking flawless

  1. Dewy, Firm Skin

Gatuline RC, Hyaluronic Acids and Ceramide content moisturizes and improves elasticity

  1. Soothing, Calming

Rosemary and Chamomile extracts soothe skin.

Ingredients:

Water(Aqua), Cyclomethicone, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Zinc Oxide, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Mineral Oil, Phenyl Trimethicone, Talc, Arbutin, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Dimethicone, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Squalane, Adenosine, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, PEG-10 Dimethicone, Polyethylene, Beeswax(Cera Alba), Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Caviar Extract, Algae Extract, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Fagus Sylvatica Bud Extract, Ceramide 3, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Chloride, Fragrance(Parfum), Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Disodium EDTA, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Benzyl Salicylate, Hydroxycitronellal, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Hexyl Cinnamal, Linalool, Citronellol
MAY CONTAIN[+/-; Titanium Dioxide(CI 77891), Iron Oxides(CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499)].

A little goes a long way with this product. The formula is very creamy and it can look cakey if you put too much on your face.

It gives a medium coverage with semi matte finish, yet looks very natural on the face. I would recommend using concealer in case of any acne or dark undereye circles. I can see oiliness on my T-zone after about 3-4 hours, but it is long lasting on the face. Especially if you set it with a powder.

The downside is that it has limited range of shades, which could be a possible trouble for people with medium to dark skin tones.

I would recommend it for people with dry to normal skin and for everyday use.

It is one of my favorite BB creams that I have tried (including Dior Nude bb Creme and Bobbi Brown bb cream) and I use it on my no make up day days.

Have you tried this or any other Korean BB creams?  I hope this post was helpful to some of you.

Have a wonderful day.

Xoxo,

Marina
