Finnaly, I jumped on the bandwagon and bought Giorgio Armani Luminous slik foundation.
According to the official Giorgio Armani website Luminous Silk Foundation is : Inspired by charmeuse silk, “The Fabric of Emperors,” this luminous foundation glides on weightlessly for a flawless lit-from-within glow. 30ml format.
Using exclusive Micro–fit technology to sculpt and brighten, this buildable, medium coverage foundation improves texture and blurs imperfections. Comes in 24 shades to match every unique skin tone.
First of all, I have to say that it is very silky indeed and I love how it feels on my skin.
But, let me give you some more information.
My first impressions even before purchasing the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation was, I was already a skeptic because I have learned that not all products that are sooo hyped on youtube work for me.
I am but aware that we all have different skin types and needs we want in a product.
So, I already mentioned that I love how the foundation looks and feels on my skin. My skin is normal to combination and I do get oily on my T-zone.
So, you can supose that I do get shiny around my forehead, nose and chin if I don’t powder.
Also, I do have to retouch. But, I get so many compliments on my skin when I wear this foundation.
I would say that Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation is a medium coverage foundation. It doesn’t have any SPF which is perfect for flash photography as it doesn’t have a white cast in photos. It also helps to blur imperfections and provides a soft-focus finish when photographed. It does a wonderful job of perking up the skin and making me look well.
Depending on where you live, this product will run you around € 48 and is 30 ml (1oz).
The Negatives – It is definnitley on the pricey side! This is one of the most expensive foundations I have ever purchased. But, the color match (I am matched in no.4) and the finish that it gives is so beautiful that it will definitely be a repurchase for me!
Have you tried this foundation and what are yout thouughts on it? Do you think that it is really worth € 48?
